Focus stacking function

A microscope camera with focus stacking function is a camera that can be attached to a microscope and take multiple images of a microscopic sample at different focus distances and combine them into a single image to form a clear image, with enhanced depth of field.

Depth of field is the range of distance that an object is in focus. The issue that arises when high magnification is required (such as at 100X) is that the depth of field becomes very small (for example, the foreground is clear but the background is blurry).

A microscope camera with the focus stacking function resolves this issue of shallow depth of field by taking multiple frames at different focus distances and putting the clear parts of the image together so that everything in the image appears clear.

Focus stacking microscope cameras can be used for a variety of purposes such as education, research, hobby, or industry to capture images of plants, insects, minerals, cells, circuit boards, and more.
